Farm Friday

This week on the farm we've been busy spraying Round-Up, soil sampling, picking up rocks and started row crop cultivating out volunteer corn.  Another highlight is that we got rain a couple different times in the past week.

Here's a look at my "backyard" this week:

The corn is growing nice and strong

A closer look at the soybeans

The soybeans are at VC - you can see the cotyledons and then the unifoliate leaves unrolled.  The first trifoliate leaf  is peaking through at the top
