Chorizo has become one of my favorite pork products over the last several years. I love its bold, slightly spicy flavor and how it turns simple ingredients into something crave‑worthy. This Crockpot Chorizo Hashbrown Casserole is a perfect example — comforting, flavorful, and flexible enough for breakfast, brunch, or even taco night.
What really makes this recipe a favorite in our house is how easy it is. Toss everything into the crockpot, let it do the work, and you’ve got a hearty, crowd‑pleasing dish waiting for you. It’s one of my go‑to recipes to start on Sunday morning so it’s ready when we get home from church, but it’s just as handy on a busy weeknight when you want dinner without a lot of fuss.
And the chorizo? It absolutely shines here. The spices infuse the hashbrowns and cheese, giving this casserole way more personality than a traditional hashbrown bake. Serve it with scrambled eggs or an over‑easy egg on top, and you’ve got a meal that feels both cozy and special.
Ingredients
1 - 28oz bag frozen hashbrowns
2 pounds chorizo, cooked and crumbled
15–16 oz jar of your favorite salsa
1 (10.75 oz) can nacho cheese soup
8 oz sour cream
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded nacho cheese blend (for topping)
Instructions
Cook the chorizo in a skillet until fully cooked.
Add ingredients to the crockpot: Place frozen hashbrowns in the crockpot, then add cooked chorizo, salsa, nacho cheese soup, sour cream, and shredded cheddar cheese.
Stir well until everything is evenly combined.
Top with cheese: Sprinkle the shredded nacho cheese blend evenly over the top.
Cook on low for 4 hours, or until hot, bubbly, and the hashbrowns are tender.
Serve with scrambled or over‑easy eggs for the ultimate breakfast bowl. Or serve with tortillas and extra salsa for an easy taco night dish. Garnish with avocado, green onions or a dollop of sour cream.
This Crockpot Chorizo Hashbrown Casserole is proof that comfort food doesn’t have to be complicated. The chorizo brings big flavor, the crockpot keeps things simple, and the result is a dish that works just about any time of day. What's your favorite way to use chorizo?

ReplyDeleteIs there any point in keeping statistics on slots?

ReplyDeleteKeeping statistics on slots may seem helpful at first, especially if you are trying to find patterns or improve consistency over time. From my experience, even exploring formats like 4rabet aviator shows how randomness dominates outcomes, making tracking less predictive than many expect. Recording sessions, bet sizes, and results can still be useful for understanding your habits, controlling your budget, and identifying impulsive behavior. However, since slots rely on RNG mechanics, past outcomes do not influence future spins, so statistics will not give a real advantage. Still, this approach can improve discipline and provide a clearer view of how you actually play.
