Oreo Fluff Salad

Looking for a quick and easy dish to bring to your next potluck or holiday gathering? Try my four ingredient Oreo Fluff Salad! It's always a hit with all ages!

Oreo Fluff Salad

The funny thing about this "salad" is that it really should be classified as a dessert, but in true Midwest potluck fashion, you'll find it served alongside all the side salads. I'll admit, I do the same - setting it out with the salads instead of the desserts! But let's be honest, three of the four ingredients are classic dessert staples: Oreos, pudding, and whipped topping...

My kids request this for every church potluck and holiday dinner. While I say it's for the kids, you'll catch scoops of it on plates of every age group. It's the perfect summer salad or holiday side dish that everyone loves.

What I love most is how simple it is to make, and you can easily prepare it ahead of time. I recommend using a food processor to crush the Oreos for an even texture.

Oreo Fluff Salad

  • 3 cups milk
  • 2 (3.4 oz) boxes instant vanilla pudding
  • 2 (8 oz) tubs whipped topping
  • 1 family-sized package of original Oreos, crushed

Instructions

Mix the milk and pudding together until it begins to thicken.

Stir in the whipped topping, then gently fold in the crushed Oreos until well combined.

Refrigerate for at least an hour before serving, or until you're ready to serve. This dish can easily be made the night before, and any leftovers (if there are any!) will keep well in the fridge for a few days.

Whether you call it a salad or a dessert, it's always a crowd-pleaser. What do you think—salad or dessert?

  1. I could not believe i had never made this till last month. The recipe given me was different and actually called for marshmallows. I think this is more like what my sister always made.

  2. Forget boring sports sims—Football Bros is like if soccer and a cartoon had a baby. The controls are simple, but the action is wild: flying kicks, surprise power-ups, and matches that can flip in a second. It’s uniquely chaotic and made for laughs, not just goals. Whether you’re winning or losing, the fun is always in full swing.

  3. level devil 2 is one of the only games that messes with you on purpose—and you’ll love it for that. It teaches kids (and adults) that not everything is as it seems. Just when you think you’ve figured it out—bam! A hidden trap. It’s uniquely designed to keep you on your toes, testing patience, timing, and the ability to laugh when things go hilariously wrong.

  5. Block Blast takes the classic block puzzle idea and turns it into a colorful brain game that never gets boring. What makes it stand out? There’s no rush. It’s just you, your thinking cap, and the satisfaction of watching lines disappear. It’s like quiet fun that secretly makes you smarter—perfect for kids who love solving things and seeing patterns click into place.

  6. What makes BitLife game truly unique is that it’s like carrying an entire lifetime in your phone—but no two lives are ever the same. One moment, you’re a brain surgeon with a yacht, and the next, you’re in jail for stealing a hot dog cart. It’s a game of endless “what ifs,” letting kids (and grown-ups) explore wild, weird, or wonderful versions of life—all through simple choices and a whole lot of imagination.

  7. I LOVE a good 'salad' that's really a dessert! This Oreo Fluff sounds absolutely perfect for any gathering. It's definitely the kind of dish that ensures everyone has a great time, unlike, say, a bad time simulator game. This will always be a win!

  8. Oh my goodness, this looks amazing! I’ve had Oreo fluff a few times at family potlucks, but your version with pudding and whipped topping sounds next-level. Definitely saving this for the holidays — I love easy desserts that everyone actually eats! Thanks for sharing the full recipe
