Easy Oreo Brownies

These Easy Oreo Brownies use your favorite boxed brownie mix and America's favorite sandwich cookie to make a decadent treat that will make all chocolate lovers celebrate!

My family loves Oreo cookies and we are always on the hunt to try their new Limited Edition flavors that they make. So when I saw that today, March 6th, was National Oreo Day I asked the kids how they wanted to celebrate they all said Oreo Brownies!

I created this recipe because I love doctoring up a good brownie box mix, so why not add one of our other favorite treats to it! It starts by making your favorite boxed brownie mix as directed and pouring half of it into a 8x8" greased pan. Then lay as many Oreos as you can on top, followed by the last half of the brownie mix. Bake your brownies in the oven and serve plain, or if you really want to celebrate, make an Oreo Brownie Sundae with them, completed with Cookies & Cream Ice Cream!

Easy Oreo Brownies

18.4 oz Boxed Brownie Mix
2/3 cup Vegetable Oil
1/4 cup Water
2 Eggs
15-16 Oreo Cookies

Preheat oven to 350°F and grease 8x8" pan with nonstick cooking spray.

Stir together brownie mix according to package directions (mine uses vegetable oil, water and eggs) and pour half of batter into the bottom of your pan.

Lay 15-16 Oreos (as many as you can fit) on top of the brownie batter and then pour the last half of brownie mix over the the Oreos, making sure to cover each cookie with the batter and spread evenly.

Bake 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean in the middle of the bars.

Let cool and serve with a glass of milk or use to make a brownie sundae!
