Harvest Prayer

Dear Lord,

Thank you for the rain that nourished our fields, even when there has been more than we needed and the delays have tested our patience. As we finally return to the fields, we ask for favorable weather and dry conditions so we can make the most of every opportunity to harvest.

Please watch over us as we work long hours in the days ahead. Keep us safe in the fields, on the roads and around machinery. Give everyone patience, good judgement, and strength when the days are long and the work is tiring.

We pray for a productive harvest and a bountiful crop - for grain that is safely brought in, equipment that runs well, and fields that allow us to do our work efficiently. Help us remember that while we work hard, the harvest is ultimately a gift from You.

Thank you for the land, the rain, the sunshine, the people who work alongside us, and the opportunity to care for Your Creation You have entrusted to us.

Bless our harvest, Lord. Amen.
