Soup Swap Party #Celebrate365

Did you know that January is National Soup Month?  And that today, the third Saturday in January, is National Soup Swap Day?  Well my Celebrate 365 co-hosts (Carlee from Cooking with Carlee, Ellen of Family Around the Table, Jan of The Tip Garden and Nicole of Tales of a Kansas Farm Mom) and I thought that sounded like a great reason to throw a blog party full of everyone's favorite soup recipes!

Celebrate National Soup Month and National Soup Swap Day #Celebrate365

There is snow on the ground and the temperature is struggling to be above 0°F, so it sounds like a great day to warm up with a bowl of soup.  I don't know about all of you, but my family and I have soup probably once a week during the winter.  I love how soup can be simple or complex, fast or slow.  I love the smell of Chili cooking in the crock-pot all day, but I love how simple and fast my Mom's Broccoli Cheese Soup or my Fiesta Pork Soup can come together for an easy weeknight meal.

Since today is National Soup Swap Day, consider throwing your own Soup Swap Party with friends, family or neighbors by having everyone bring a giant batch of their favorite soup, along with enough containers that everyone can take home part of everyone's soup and copies of each soup's recipe.  What a fun way to enjoy different soups all winter long!

Another way to enjoy different soups all winter long is by linking up your favorite soup recipes to our Soup Swap Blog Party.  Bloggers are welcome to link-up all of their soup posts.  I can't wait to get inspired by all of your recipes and try some new soups this winter!  What is your favorite kind of soup or stew?
