March is National Pasta Month so my Celebrate 365 co-hosts (Carlee from Cooking with Carlee, Ellen of Family Around the Table, Jan of The Tip Garden and Nicole of Tales of a Kansas Farm Mom) and I thought that sounded like a great reason to throw a blog party full of everyone's favorite pasta recipes!

National Pork Month #Celebrate365 Blog Party
October is one of my favorite times of the year for many reasons: harvest is in full-swing (or as much as we can this year between rains), it is sweatshirt weather, my birthday is at the end of the month, and it's National Pork Month. I have been raising pigs with my family and now my husband literally my entire life. I love sharing about our pigs and delicious ways to prepare pork. So in recognition of National Pork Month I joined forces with my Celebrate 365 co-hosts (Carlee from Cooking with Carlee, Ellen of Family Around the Table, Jan of The Tip Garden and Nicole of Tales of a Kansas Farm Mom) to host a Pork Recipe Blog Party!

Celebrate 365 Ice Cream Social
My favorite, go-to dessert will always be ice cream. I will eat it all year long but there is something fun about eating ice cream and frozen treats during the summer. My family even goes on an Ice Cream Road Trip every summer! So to celebrate summer time and National Ice Cream month, I've joined forces with my Celebrate 365 co-hosts (Carlee from Cooking with Carlee, Jan of The Tip Garden and Nicole of Tales of a Kansas Farm Mom) to throw an Ice Cream Social!

Healthy Eats #Celebrate365
Now that all of our Christmas gatherings are over, it is now time to get organized for the New Year, and I'm not just talking about how to fit all the new toys into our house... The most popular New Year's Resolution is making healthier choices, so my Celebrate 365 co-hosts (Carlee from Cooking with Carlee and Jan from Tip Garden) and I have decided to host a Healthy Eats Recipe Blog Party!
The New Year is a great way to have a fresh start and as I have been thinking through my goals for 2018 I have been thinking about making healthier choices. 2018 actually marks the first year in many years that I have not been pregnant or nursing. One of my body's main jobs has been taking care of kids over the last six years literately and while yes, one of my main jobs will continue to be taking care of four kids, my body at least isn't physically supplying nutrients for more than one person.
Now while I said for the first time I'm able to concentrate on my body, I am still feeding my growing family three meals a day, so I would love to see all bloggers link up their healthy meals and recipe ideas for individuals and families. Feel free to share all of your 21 Day Fix, Keto, Paleo, Weight Watchers, high-protein, clean, etc. recipes so we all can get inspired to be healthier in the New Year!
Are you making plans to be a healthier you in 2018? What is your favorite healthy recipe or food to eat? Be sure to link up in the Blog Party and Comment for a Cause!

Peanut Butter Balls. No Bake Cookies. Sugar Cookies. Gooey Wonders. Peanut Butter Blossoms. I really could go on and on, but I think you get the picture... It's Christmas Cookie Week! And to get things started I am partnering with my Celebrate 365 co-hosts (Carlee from Cooking with Carlee, Jan from Tip Garden, and Nicole from Tales of a Kansas Farm Mom) to host a Cookie Exchange Link-Up Party.
All bloggers are welcomed and encouraged to link up their favorite Christmas Cookie recipes. I can't wait to see what everyone shares, as I love making a few different cookies each week in December leading up to Christmas, that way I have well rounded Christmas Cookie platters with lots of favorites and variety.
Also, be sure to stay tuned for Christmas Cookie Week by following #ChristmasCookies on social media. All Things Apple #Celebrate365
Fall has arrived and the annual debate has begun - are you Team Apple or Team Pumpkin. I personally enjoy both but if I had to choose I would go with Apple. Apples are so versatile for both sweet and savory dishes, and you have access to fresh apples for a longer time-frame than you do pumpkin. No matter which side of the aisle you sit on, I think we all can agree that there is something special about both of these fall flavors.
Now while I am for both Apple and Pumpkin, this week is all about Apples! In fact, this week I'm celebrating #AppleWeek with other food bloggers. So to get the week started, I've partnered with my Celebrate 365 co-hosts (Carlee from Cooking with Carlee, Jan from Tip Garden, and Nicole from Tales of a Kansas Farm Mom) to throw an All Things Apple Blog Party. Bloggers are encouraged to link-up their favorite apple recipes, crafts and ideas here in this week long blog party.
What is your favorite Apple dish? Be sure to link up your favorites below and remember to Comment for a Cause!

Back to School #Celebrate365
August is here and it is time to start thinking and planning about going back to school. For our family school starts at the end of the month and Mr. K will be going into 1st grade and Miss A will be going in PreK! I'm excited for both of them and I'm looking forward to having my afternoons "free" with two napping children at home and two at school. What to do, what to do? I'm sure I'll find something 😉

Dad's Favorite Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies
Father's Day is in one week and to celebrate I am partnering with my Celebrate 365 friends to throw a Father's Day Favorites Blog Party.
When I think of my Dad's favorite, the first thing that comes to mind is Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies. Ever have a food that is always tied to a memory? Well, whenever I make these cookies I always think of my Dad. Both my Dad and I have a love of farming and the combination of peanut butter and chocolate 😊 My Dad is the one that gave me the interest and love of farming, and who makes me proud to be carrying on our family's farming tradition. So it only seems appropriate then that these cookies are a staple for us out in the field and have become a family favorite for anytime of the year.
I hope you enjoy my Dad's Favorite and I can't wait to see all of your Father's Day Favorites. Feel free to link up as many recipe, gift and activity posts as you would like, and be sure to check out my fellow Celebrate 365 friend's pages to check out their Father's Day Favorites:

Easter Leftover Makeover Blog Party
It's the day after Easter, family and friends have left, and I've got a fridge full of food. Well, for me the three items I have the most of in my fridge are hard-boiled eggs, ham and mashed potatoes, so what should I do?
Hard-Boiled Eggs - Breakfast - Chopped Egg & Chorizo Breakfast Pizza from Ally's Sweet and Savory Eats
On Saturday our kids dyed 48 hard-boiled eggs with their second-cousin, so to say I have a few hard-boiled eggs in the refrigerator would be an understatement. So what can I do? One option is Ally's Sweet and Savory Eats's Chopped Egg & Chorizo Breakfast Pizza.
I love breakfast pizza and Ally's version is sure to hit the spot with chopped hard-boiled egg, smoky and spicy chorizo, layered with a cheese sauce! Oh yeah! I can't wait to transform some of my hard-boiled egg leftovers into this breakfast makeover.
Ham - Dinner - Funeral Sandwiches from Jeni Eats
Next up is ham! We double-smoked two hams for Easter yesterday and I have a couple gallon bags with leftover ham in it. With spring planting on the horizon this week the first thing I thought about making was Jeni Eats's Funeral Sandwiches.
These quick, glazed, baked ham and cheese sandwiches are delicious! Between everything being melty, ooey and gooey, along with the delicious glaze on top - these have become a family favorite and are perfect for feeding a crowd, or a hungry tractor and planting crew.
Mashed Potatoes - Supper - Shepherd's Pie from Corn, Beans, Pigs & Kids
Last up is mashed potatoes! I made 10 pounds of mashed potatoes for yesterday and while people did a really good job of trying to finish them, I still have some leftovers. So what better way to makeover mashed potatoes other than Shepherd's Pie.
This recipe is a great way to turn your mashed potatoes into another great comfort food. Add in some of your leftover vegetables and some hamburger, and you've got a classic supper ready for your family.
So now it is your turn! I've teamed up with my Country Fair Blog Party friends, Jan of The Tip Garden and Nicole of Tales of a Kansas Farm Mom to bring all of you an Easter Leftover Makeover Blog Party. Feel free to link up as many of your posts that would work as a leftover makeover! I can't wait to get inspired by all of your ideas.
What leftover are you excited to have in your refrigerator? What's your favorite leftover makeover? Remember to Comment for a Cause.

Pi{e} Day Link Up Party + Easy Sour Cream & Raisin Pie
Happy 3.14, also known as Pi Day, where everyone that loves pie (which includes me 😉) has an excuse to eat pie! I love to not only eat pie, but also make pie. Something about making the crust, rolling it out, making the filling, getting creative in the kitchen - making pie gives me a sense of accomplishment and happiness.
One of my go to pies in my recipe collection is my Easy Sour Cream & Raisin Pie. It is a go to recipe because it is super simple and is a fast pie to make, as well as it's a favorite of both My Farmer and my Father-in-Law. In fact my Father-in-Law has requested this pie from me for his birthday the last few years.
Easy Sour Cream & Raisin Pie
1 cup Flour
5 Tbsp Powdered Sugar
1/2 cup Butter, softened
Dash Salt
1 cup Raisins
2 tsp Cinnamon
2 Tbsp Brown Sugar
1/2 cup Sour Cream
1 - 3.4 oz box Instant Vanilla Pudding
1 1/2 cup Milk
1 - 8 oz container Whipped Topping
To start, make your crust by blending the flour, powdered sugar, butter and salt with a pastry blender and press into a 9" or 10" pie plate. Bake for 10 minutes at 350°F. Let the crust cool and begin to make your filling.
For the filling, start by boiling the raisins. After the raisins have boiled for a minute, drain off the juice and add cinnamon, brown sugar and sour cream. In a mixing bowl combine the vanilla pudding mix and milk. Then stir in 2/3 cup whipped topping. Add raisin mixture and combine. Pour mixture into cooled pie crust and then top with the rest of the whipped topping.
Besides having a slice of pie today, I couldn't think of a better way to celebrate then having a Pi{e} Day Link Up Party. I have partnered with my old Country Fair Blog Party Co-Hosts: Jan of The Tip Garden and Nicole of Tales of a Kansas Farm Mom to bring this link up to all of you today. Feel free to link-up any and all of your pie recipes - sweet to savory, traditional to unique. We want to see them all!
What's your favorite kind of pie? Remember to Comment for a Cause!

Country Fair Blog Party: December 2016
It's the start of a new month and time for another great blog party to start! Before we get into this month's Country Fair Blog Party, Jan from the Tip Garden and I would like to thank everyone for your comments last month on the direction we should take with the blog party! The winner of last months Holiday Gift Bag was chosen via Rafflecopter... and drum roll please... The winner is: Julie Raye-Rodriguez!!
| Enjoy Julie! |
Jan will be contacting you via email to get your shipping address to get your gift bag in the mail. Congratulations once again!
As for 2017, What Comes Next? Both Jan and myself joined in as co-hosts to share the load with others as a group of bloggers and we now find ourselves just too busy to run it just by ourselves, or alone as individuals. So very reluctantly, it has come time to let it go.
Not totally goodbye: Now while Jan and I are both going to take a break from the Country Fair Blog Party after this month, we both still enjoy hosting blog hops. We have some ideas floating around on maybe some special holiday or seasonal parties we might lead in the future, and if and when we dream up and take action on something new, we plan on inviting all of you.
Thank you for your support! We have the best bloggers here at the Country Fair Blog Party! The friendliest, most caring, and willing to share and uplift each other. We are grateful for you coming back month after month and sharing your life with us. We cherish not just the networking but relationships built through this Blog Hop!
Now that I've update all of you on the Country Fair Blog Party, let's celebrate by recognizing the top viewed posts in November. Last month we had a tie for the most clicked post:
Both of these desserts look perfect to share with family over the holidays! Congratulations to both Jean and Carlee!
Thanks to everyone that joined our blog hop last month, and I can't wait to see what great posts get linked up to the final Country Fair Blog Party. Country Fairs are all about food, family, friends, farming, animals, arts and crafts, canning, baking and more. And that is what our our blog hop is all about too. Feel free to join our Country Fair by linking up to 3 of your posts. This blog hop is a great opportunity to check out new blogs, and if you blog yourself, have your posts reach a new audience. Be sure to visit some other party goers and let them know you are stopping by through the Country Fair Blog Party.
Also, be sure to visit my fellow co-host:

Country Fair Blog Party: November 2016
Before we get into this month's Country Fair Blog Party. Jan from the Tip Garden and I would like to share about some changes coming to our Blog Hop!
The Future? Jan and I will be running the County Fair Blog Party through the end of the year, and we are looking to figure out where we go now. If we continue as the Country Fair Blog Party, or relaunch in a new direction. Not just a new name, but a new format altogether. This is where we turn to you and ask for your input!
Here's what we do know: We do love hosting a blog link up party! A monthly link up is what we can handle.
Here's what we need input on: If we did change formats would you give us your thoughts on them in the comments section? We will be using your feedback as we make a decision.
Input Questions:
- Themed Link up: Keep a regular monthly blog party, but if we changed the format to a theme. How do you feel?
- General, Seasonal, Monthly: Any posts that would fit for that month. Example, the month of May might be anything from Mothers day, graduations, Spring foods, Memorial day.
- Specific: Examples, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Winter Holidays,Valentines, etc.
- A Simple Name Change/Rebranding away from Country Fair Blog Party
- Step away from a regular link up and host fun "link up" weeks and have you all join us as Blogger Link up Hosts, onto your own blogs! Examples, seasonal foods or holidays, Mothers day, Valentines, Easter, etc. and bloggers would get to link up their post onto the link and get it posted onto their own blogs, as well and share it too for the exposure! This would mean you'd be joining us as hosts! We could always "generalize" the theme a bit too, like "Thanksgiving" or "Autumn Recipes" to widen our base of bloggers who have posts to share. Going to this time of link-up would be similar to the #AppleWeek I participated in, in December with our Blue Ribbon Winner Cooking with Carlee. This themed link up is a fun because you get to focus your own recipe/post on your own blog, but join in as a host on a link up at the same time without doing all the work of a party host! You just need to do a bit of work with us to get the link to us and then get some code into the bottom of your post so all the other links show up, underneath your main recipe! Like your own little blog hop!
- Other? Do you have any other ideas or thoughts we should consider?
- Link up at least one blog post to our monthly link party.
- Leave us a comment in our post comments with your thoughts on where we might take the future of Country Fair Blog Party.
- After leaving a comment, click on the Rafflecopter button to enter the giveaway. Giveaway ends midnight November 25th, 2016. Winners will be chosen at random via rafflecopter. We will announce the winner in our December 1st Country Fair Blog Party Post. We hope to take all your thoughts, along with our own, and make a decision. both individually and together; and we hope to have an announcement if possible for the December Link Up!
I personally have made this recipe three times already! It is simple and delicious. I personally use the pulled pork "as is" in sandwiches the first night and then reuse the pulled pork for something else like enchiladas, stroganoff, etc. the next night. Warning, this pulled pork smells especially good cooking in the crock pot so you might want to make plans to not be in the house, otherwise you're going to be very hungry all afternoon. ;)
Thanks to everyone that joined our blog hop last month, and I can't wait to see what great posts get linked up to this month's Country Fair Blog Party. Country Fair Blog Party: October 2016
The air is crisp, the combine is in the field and I've been craving apples and pumpkins - it must mean fall is here! To celebrate the fall season and the start of the month, it is time for a new Country Fair Blog Party! Before I share the link-up for this month's Blog Hop, here are the Blue Ribbon Winners from the September Country Fair Blog Party:
During last month's Blog Party, Gluten Free A-Z's Baked Ziti The Way Grandma Made It was the most viewed post from the link-up! Congratulations to Judee on getting the most clicks and receiving a Country Fair Blog Party Blue Ribbon! Her Baked Ziti sounds like a perfect dish to warm up with this fall.
My Readers' Choice Blue Ribbon goes to The Frugal Pantry's Oreo Bars. My readers, and I, thought this recipe looked too good not to try. Plus, it is a cake mix recipe. I think cake mix recipes are always fun to make and always seem to be soft and chewy!
And my final Country Fair Blog Party Blue Ribbon goes to Vickie's Kitchen and Garden's Donuts from a Can of Biscuits. This wasn't only one of my favorite recipes, but actually was in a three-way tie for the second most clicked on post from last month's link-up. This is a tried and true recipe from Vickie that she made for her kids and now her grandkids.

Country Fair Blog Party: September 2016
The fields are starting to change colors, I've been pinning apple recipes and our family is going to a football game this weekend - it must mean it is September 1st! And the start of a new Country Fair Blog Party! Before I share the link-up for this moth's Country Fair Blog Party, here are the Blue Ribbon Winners from the August Blog Hop:
During last month's Blog Party, Oak Hill Homestead's 10 Ways to Enjoy Summer Squash, was the most viewed post from the link-up! Congrats to Kathi on getting the most clicks and receiving a Country Fair Blog Party Blue Ribbon! My family and I have been eating zucchini and spaghetti squash weekly here lately so this post was perfect to check out to get some new recipe ideas!
My Readers' Choice Blue Ribbon goes to Farm Girl Cook'n's Pineapple-Mango Chili Jam! This recipe sounds delicious and that it'd be perfect for a fall tailgate, spread on crackers with cream cheese. Besides wanting to try this recipe, Mary makes me really excited and inspired to do more canning from her post.
My final Country Fair Blog Party Blue Ribbon goes to Southwest Missouri Moms's Get Involved post. This a great read for any Mom who has kids going back to school. I especially love the prayers and bible verse included in this devotion.

Also, be sure to visit my fellow co-hosts:
Jan of Tip Garden
Laurie of Country LINKed and
Nicole of Tales of a Kansas Farm Mom
We're excited to see everything you share this month! What is your favorite link from this month's Country Fair Blog Party? Whichever post is mentioned the most in the comments will receive my "Readers Choice" Blue Ribbon next month. Remember to Comments for a Cause!
