Looking for an easy holiday side dish? Check out my Cranberry Jello Salad with just four ingredients! It's simple to make and is full of the traditional flavors you want at your Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner.
I will admit, I've never been a "cranberry sauce" kind of gal but after my husband requested I find his grandmother's recipe for her cranberry sauce, I've been making her version ever since. Now, while it isn't a traditional cranberry sauce, it gives you those holiday flavors you are looking for, in an appealing way. His grandmother normally put it in an oiled mold; I simply put it in a nice serving bowl with a spoon to share at Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners.
My favorite part of this recipe is how easy it is to make. There are only four ingredients (three if you don't count the water) and all of them you can easily stock in your pantry. To make the salad you simply dissolve the jello into the boiling water, stir in a can of cranberry sauce, mix in the applesauce, refrigerate and you're done! It's the perfect side dish to add to your holiday menu if you're looking for something fruity and that all ages will enjoy.
Cranberry Jello Salad
2 - 3 oz boxes of Cherry flavored Jello
1 - 14 to 16 oz can of Whole Berry Cranberry Sauce
1 1/2 cups of Applesauce
Bring water up to a boil. Dissolve the Jello into the water. Turn off the heat and stir in the cranberry sauce until melted. Then mix in the applesauce. Once everything is evenly combined, pour into a medium to large serving bowl. Refrigerate 4 hours or until firm.

This Cranberry Jello Salad looks both festive and refreshing! I love how it combines sweet and tart flavors — perfect for holiday tables or potlucks.
ReplyDeleteI love the bright red color of this salad. It's beautiful. The color is like a ripe pomegranate.
ReplyDeleteI was scrolling through an australian forum late one night when I came across Drake Casino. Australia, the crazy mix of slot games caught my attention, and I couldn’t resist trying a few spins. Some wins were hilariously tiny, and others surprisingly wild. The unpredictable randomness made it oddly addictive, and I ended up chatting with other players who were laughing at the absurd results too. Honestly, I didn’t expect to enjoy it this much, but the combination of chaos and humor kept me glued to the screen for hours.
ReplyDeleteIn Melbourne I stumbled across El Royale Casino. Reels swing smoother than a jazz band and graphics look unreal. Starting package felt enormous, instant bank transfer cashouts flew through. Rock-solid security and friendly support stay available around the clock. For Australians it delivers pure speakeasy vibes and colossal jackpots. Cricket pokies with 1920s charm create total addiction.
ReplyDeleteI love simple recipes with minimal ingredients; they never disappoint, just like time-tested things. I value the same simplicity and reliability in services, which is why I chose Elements Casino Victoria for my leisure time in Canada. It's nice when everything is clear, honest, and guaranteed to bring satisfaction, both in the kitchen and in the game.
